Going Local is a free community magazine and directory of local businesses serving Ardsley, Tingley, Wrenthorpe, Outwood, Stanley, Newton Hill, Kirkhamgate and surrounding areas. A bi-monthly magazine produced as two separate publications which gets to the heart of the community and keeps the residents in the suburbs of Wakefield and Leeds in touch with local businesses, community news and events.
Established over three years, Going Local prides itself on the fact that it lives up to its name, it now has a readership of over 34,000 people and continuously features local people, local news and community events. The magazine is primarily dedicated to the smaller communities in Wakefield and Leeds; however our website, goinglocalonline, means we are accessible to everyone within the Wakefield and Leeds area.
