Rising Stars Looking for new members

The Rising Stars are a dance majorette and cheerleading troupe based in Outwood and are now recruiting for new members for their 2010 season.  They welcome all children from 3 years upwards.  Members dance in competitions and galas around the Wakefield area.  If you enjoy dancing, making friends, having fun and want to be part of a fast growing troupe then contact Joanne on 07756065532 or leave a message.  All trainers and committee members are CRB checked.

Lofthouse Hill Golf Club - Ladies Section welcomes new members


lofthousehillgolfclub2.jpgLofthouse Hill Golf Club are looking to welcome new members to its ladies section.  If you are ready for a challenge and a change of scene why not come along.  The ladies compete against other clubs and enjoy this competitive side as well as meeting new lady golfers across Yorkshire and beyond.

The club is a very friendly club with a fully integrated membership.  All members have equal rights to play at all times although tee times must be pre booked in advance.  They have a thriving solcial secion, which members and non members can attend on a regular basis.  They are offering all ladies, gents and juniors an invitation to call at the club where the owner Mr Derek Johnson is available to answer any questions they may have,  There is no joining fee and membership is very reasonable, £60 for Juniors, £410 for ladies annually.  If you fancy trying a new sport or you are already an active golfer looking for a welcoming club to play please come and have a look.  They can promise a very friendly welcome.
